Telangana Government integrated IHS data into mobile app

Telangana Government introduced a mobile application to get an easy access to Intensive Household Survey data to key officials.

The Government of Telangana has started Intensive Household Survey which means Samagra Kutumba Survey-SKS on 19th of August in 2014 to cover all the households of Telangana in a little span maximum in one day to cover 94 major parameters. Then the collection of data is stored safe and secure at Central server with National Informatics Centre (NIC) which is located in Hyderabad. This is totally an intelligent effect took place other than any survey till done.

Now the massive data of SKS is being used by District Collects all over Telangana and all the departments. This is used to initiate various welfare programs in Telangana, some of them are Aasara Pensions, Single Women Pensions, Finance Assistance to Beedi Workers, Sheep distribution and more.
